In the Aquafarm nursery, our team of 20 experienced employees looks after a large assortment of ornamental fish on more than 7.000 m2, which we deliver to Aquadistri’s customers after extensive quarantine. In 2,400 aquariums, we keep over 400 species of tropical fish from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, South America, Africa, the Czech Republic, Israel and many other countries.

Fish is imported from our sister companies and suppliers all over the world. These fish are then stocked in our systems, only after a solid quarantine period and throughout quality control, these fish are shipped to our customers.

Our facility:
Our farm has 2400 aquariums and over 350 large fibreglass holding systems which in total hold more than 800.000 litre of water, we also hold 400.000 litre of fresh water in preparation for daily water changes.

Specialist knowledge:
The team at Aquafarm understands fish keeping, many of them have been working in the ornamental fish industry for over 25 years and is supported by the renowned fish specialist Gerald Bassleer, and the founder of Colombo, Doctor Mario Blom, to enhance our fish knowledge, our health policies and to provide training to our staff.
