at Aquadistri we are aware
At Aquadistri we are aware of our social responsibilities. We are committed to treating people, the natural environment, animals, plants and our planet in a responsible manner. This is why we do everything possible to take the principles of environmentally responsible business (ERB) into consideration in all of our decisions. Aquadistri sponsors a variety of charity organisations and other charity work devoted to the welfare of people, children and animals.
We are proud to finalise the construction of our 3rd water tower
at orphanages in the Philippines.
Yearly we try to support several good purposes, such as the food bank in the Netherlands and children in need. With our projects we try to make a difference, by providing these orphanages with a self-sufficient and reliable water supply we help them on the long term. In the case of San Martin they were still pumping water by hand, imagine taking care for over 88 children this way, from washing to cooking. Now things have changed with running tapwater!
Many thanks to our team, and all our customers who make this project possible!
THE MISSION BAHAY AT YAMAN NI SAN MARTIN DE PORRES, INC. (in short BYSMPI)
Mission Road, Bonga Menor, Bustos, Bulacan 3007,Philippines
Bahay means house, and that is what Rev. Fr. Florentino S.Concepcion better known as, “Father Boyet” intended to offer when he initiated this centre.
Started in 2002 as a feeding centre helping the hopeless street children of the City of Manila, BYSMPI now provide a more permanent shelter. In December 2003, a house was built in Bustos, Bulacan, on a lot donated by a good-hearted couple.
The construction of the house was made possible through donations and through the help of the apostolate mission for the street children; The house in Bustos takes care of children in crisis (e.g. street children, runaways, orphans, homeless, destitute, abandoned and physically-abused). Currently, there are 88 housed children, 5 children in the independent living program, 2 children in college and 3 children in technical school. The children are in the age from 6 to 17 years old.
In the past we have also sponsored the following organisations and projects, among others:
Children have the future, but only if they have a safe home and someone who cares for them. This is why we support the Bethany Orphanage project. Bethany is run by Catholic sisters and volunteers and presently provides a home for 66 orphans. We provide support to meet their daily needs and we also try to improve their facilities.
We also have a soft spot for animals, which is why we support a small volunteer project in France where Walter Goldstein is working hard to give sick and old donkeys a better life.

In 2010 we supported the Lenie’t Hart seal shelter in Pieterburen (Netherlands) in their efforts to care for sick seals. Our sponsorship enabled the shelter to save the lives of six seals, named Sarah, Sterre, Dribbel, Joepie, Willem Barentz and Ridder Anton. All six seals were successfully returned the North Seaafter treatment. For more information about the Lenie’t Hart seal shelter, visit their website at www.zeehondencreche.nl
