Saki-Hikari Marine Carnivore has a high protein concentration, this well-balanced diet is based on the food seawater fish ingest in nature and therefore very suitable for fish that are more difficult to keep in the aquarium. The high protein content makes the food suitable for carnivorous marine fish but also as a supplementary food for omnivorous fish.

Saki-Hikari Marine Herbivore contains a wide variety of vegetable ingredients, including dried seaweed (nori) and spirulina. This tasty food is readily accepted by herbivores and omnivorous marine fish. Everyone knows the health-promoting effects of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus) from the famous Japanese yoghurt drink, among others. Hikari has been applying the benefits of probiotic bacteria in Saki-Hikari Koi feed for many years. The Hikari-Germ™ bacteria accelerate food breakdown in the digestive tract. Subsequently, the bacteria ensure optimal food absorption and digestion in the intestines.

This reduces the amount of waste (faeces) by 40% and thus improves water quality. Moreover, Hikari-Germ ensures better absorption of vitamins, minerals and proteins. This ensures healthy growth and beautiful colours. Saki-Hikari Marine is the first food for marine fish with live probiotic bacteria. The slow-sinking pellets, which allow the food to be eaten by all fish in the aquarium, are available in 2 varieties.
