Hikari®Wheat-Germ

Hikari Wheat-Germ is an easily digestible feed for all seasons. The use of wheat germ as a main ingredient ensures a high concentration of vitamins B and E. Hikari Wheat Germ contains all 9 essential amino acids and fatty acids important for fish health. Only Hikari contains Wheat Germ as its main ingredient, making it unique! This feed is ideally suited at lower water temperatures but also for mixing during the other seasons to promote digestion, skin quality and colours.

Hikari®Wheat-Germ Sinking

Hikari Wheat-Germ Sinking has been specially developed for the colder months of the year. Its excellent digestibility guarantees an exceptionally effective feed in colder water and temperature fluctuations. The use of wheat germ as a main ingredient ensures a high concentration of vitamins B and E. Hikari Wheat Germ contains all 9 essential amino acids and fatty acids important for fish health.

Strong antioxidant power:
This helps with stress to slow down cell ageing and maintain cell health.

Betere doorbloeding en stofwisseling:
In humans, this improves moisture retention and elasticity of the skin. In Nishikigoi, this helps against yellowing and provides a healthy glow.

Rich in vitamin B complex

Wheat-Germ ensures proper digestion and stimulates reproduction! The vitamin B complex contains:

  1. Vitamin B1: burning of carbohydrates
  2. Vitamin B2: lipid metabolism
  3. Vitamin B6: breakdown and resynthesis of amino acids

Rich in amino and fatty acids

Wheat-Germ contains all 9 essential amino acids that cannot be synthesised in the fish body; Isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine, histidine.

Wheat-Germ also contains 2 fatty acids which are constituents of cell membranes; Linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid.
